About the role
 

• Our Administrative Support department, composed of over 10 people, is focused on being primary point of contact between executives, internal teams, and external partners.
• As an Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for managing schedules, coordinating meetings, handling correspondence, and assisting with various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the executive office. You will get the opportunity to contribute to the growing Silica family and have a positive impact on transformation journey of Solvay.

• You will be accountable for:
  • Managing complex scheduling, event planning and ad hoc projects for Global Business Unit Peroxides NAm Executive Leader (General Manager - GM) with additional NAm Solvay Group responsibilities.
  • Work directly with the GM to support all aspects of her daily work routine.
  • Work with GM to organize and schedule LT meetings and related communication sessions; organize, host, record and share all meetings and calls; assist in the preparation and distribution of meeting agendas and materials.  .
  • Assist in travel arrangements (includes domestic and international) for GM ensuring timely and efficient planning.
  • Create purchase requisitions, orders and invoices for LT functional perimeters not covered within their teams.
• We offer a permanent contract based on remote working mode.

 

About you

 

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Three to five years’ prior experience in supporting a senior executive or team.
• Competencies:
  • Must be able to monitor operation of all equipment.
  • Must be willing to work shift work and overtime.
  • Must be able to recalibrate and reset scales, as needed.

About the pay and benefits

 

• Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the USA base pay reasonably expected for this role is $75,000/yr to $90,000/yr, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
