Be part of our success story and change the world by joining us!</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>The <strong>Analytics &amp; Insights Team</strong> at Enpal are hiring skilled people to build nearly anything, from risk and fraud models for our renewable energy products and customer portfolio, over ML driven product quality assurance solutions to predictive maintenance models. The main question we want to answer is: are we delivering on our customer promise? If you are the right candidate for us, by reading this you already know that we are using supervised learning algorithms, scripts, SQL and anything that helps us to automate boring tasks to have the wiggle room for the fun stuff.  And you have an idea on how we would solve it.<br/> <br/> <strong>At Enpal, you would be </strong></p><ul><li>Be involved in the whole modelling process, from data cleaning and feature engineering to model training, evaluation and deployment into operations</li><li>Not only know what can go wrong in a model building process, but also have ideas with regards to how we can do to avoid these pitfalls</li><li>Participate in coding and code reviewing</li><li>Collaborate within a cross functional team</li></ul><p> </p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>What you should bring:</strong><br/> <br/> We are looking for roughly a 50% fit with for what we ask. The other 50% is a surprise to us, it is the magic you bring to the table and the diversity in which you make us grow. </p><ul><li>you are experienced in <strong>SQL</strong> and <strong>Python 3.x</strong>, know the most common frameworks for doing data science in Python. You don’t need to know them inside-out, but knowing the general structure helps. </li><li>if you have prior experience with <strong>Data Science, task automation, data pipelines and BI</strong>, it helps a bunch. We’re about supporting business departments to automate the boring stuff, answer the tricky questions with data and that’s a very diverse world with ideally elegant solutions. </li><li>used to working on data “with personality”, in other words, data that has been gathered for a different purpose than building machine learning models</li><li>You communicate clearly in <strong>English</strong>, spoken and written.
