The L&D Supervisor partners closely with Tax Partners, Directors, Technical SMEs, and Practice Leadership to design, develop, and implement learning solutions that strengthen technical capability, regulatory compliance, and career progression within the Tax practice. This role translates complex federal, state, and international tax regulations into structured, scalable learning experiences across modalities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct needs analyses tied to tax law changes, regulatory updates, quality initiatives, and practice growth.
- Design curriculum pathways aligned to Tax career progression (Associate through Partner).
- Translate complex tax code, IRS guidance, and firm methodology into learner-centered training.
- Develop busy season readiness programs and just-in-time performance support tools.
- Ensure CPE programs meet NASBA/AICPA standards and maintain audit-ready documentation.
- Develop instructor-led, virtual, and eLearning programs specific to Tax technical topics.
- Incorporate tax technology platforms (e.g., CCH, Thomson Reuters, SurePrep, GoSystem, Caseware Cloud).
- Measure learning impact through assessments, feedback, quality metrics, and performance data.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects aligned with tax deadlines and filing cycles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in public accounting or regulated environment, with responsibilities including training/instruction preferred.
- Experience supporting CPE-eligible programming and NASBA standards.
- Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools and LMS platforms.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in deadline-driven environments.

Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 - $110,000. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the specific role, office location as well as the individual’s qualifications, experience, skills, and certifications.
