The Recruitment Marketing Program Lead is responsible for developing and executing the company's overall recruitment marketing strategy – and to activate Applied’s employee value proposition (EVP) through our global corporate channels. This person will directly support global Talent Acquisition (TA) leaders to co-create the TA strategy and work closely with the Corporate Communications team and external partners on planning, idea generation, and execution. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of recruitment marketing best practices and a proven track record of success in developing and implementing successful campaigns. The candidate must also have excellent influencing and collaboration skills to work closely with global Talent Acquisition (TA) leaders and team members, the Corporate Communications team, business leaders, and external partners.
Position location is remote in the US.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute the company's overall recruitment marketing strategy to activate Applied Materials’ employer brand and EVP globally.
Lead the development and implementation of creative and engaging recruitment marketing campaigns that drive EVP messaging and measurably attract and nurture top talent through the marketing funnel – from awareness to consideration to hire.
Oversee all aspects of the recruitment marketing process, including content creation, channel strategy, social media marketing, and analytics.
Personally engage in recruitment marketing execution in the US and EMEA. Collaborate with in-country resources for other country’s marketing execution.
Collaborate across Talent Acquisition to develop and implement hiring strategies.
Oversee and improve the candidate experience and candidate communications.
Prioritize requests based on group objectives and business needs.
Collaborate with Employee Experience, Corporate Communications and regional communications teams to ensure recruitment marketing campaigns are aligned to our EVP and corporate brand standards.
Identify and manage external partners for program execution. Evaluate and contract with vendors and agencies.
Manage the company’s reputation as an employer on third-party review sites and job boards.
Update content for the Careers website and CRM.
Analyze and interpret data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in recruitment marketing. Provide leadership for ongoing improvements to our marketing, employer brand and EVP activation strategies throughout the year.
Required Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience in marketing or brand activation -- with at least 3 in recruitment marketing -- across multiple business units and/or regions.
Excellent writing skills, with the ability to create content from blogs to emails to videos yourself as well as enlist (and guide) internal and external content creators.
A gift for storytelling and the ability to reach and engage your audience on a human level through search, social, digital, mobile, and email.
Curious, resourceful, self-starter, and creative problem-solver; an organized project manager; and a team player who can both do the work or guide the work depending on the situation.
Experience working with (or as part of) a Corporate Communications team and/or Talent Acquisition team with a focus on employer brand and recruitment marketing.
Experience selecting and managing external vendors/partners and related budgets.
Deep understanding and application of recruitment marketing best practices and trends.
Proven track record of success in developing and implementing successful recruitment marketing campaigns.
Proven influencing and collaboration skills across a matrixed ecosystem of stakeholders with varying levels of experience with - and knowledge of - recruitment marketing.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
