Outdoor Customer Service Rep

THE POSITION: An Outdoor Customer Service Rep assists our customers and vendors at a busy Landscape Supply Yard. This position requires excellent communication, striving to meet and exceed expectations in a courteous manner. Assisting customers may involve educating them on products/services, helping customers sort through loose stone, escort them around landscape supply yard, obtain objects off high shelves, load their vehicle with purchased material, and so on. The Rep is trained to safely operate small equipment such as forklifts and wheel loaders. This position is physically demanding, outdoors (in all weather conditions), and requires candidate to lift or stand the entire shift.

Position Requirements

• At least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid Class C Driver’s License
• Ability to work in various weather conditions with exposure to heat, cold, wind, and rain.
• Ability to speak professional working English
• Able to perform physical requirements of the job, including: prolonged physical exertion, standing, reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling. Able to handle objects of unique shape and size and weighing up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day, and up to 75 lbs occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts or small wheel loaders
• Experience in customer service
• Experience operatung outdoor power equipment
• Biliengual
