What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and/or telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor processing and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols and post orders.
• Support investigations related to policy violations, disturbances, and/or unusual activity by gathering information, preparing reports, and maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Have 5 or more years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
