MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented GEOINT Strategic Advisor to join our team in Springfield, VA.
The Functional Specialist Advisor / GEOINT Business Analyst will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to support data collection activities, to include conducting engagement strategy sessions with partners, participating in geospatial requirements reviews, and maintaining validated GEOINT needs of the community.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Leading and facilitating strategy sessions, working groups, and outreach visits with Intelligence Community (IC), DoD, and civil partners to validate and document GEOINT needs.
- Translating complex all-source intelligence needs into validated GEOINT requirements for storage and analysis in master databases such as GIMS, RMS, or PRISM.
- Applying expert knowledge of overhead, commercial, and airborne sensors to educate partners and develop collection strategies that satisfy future GEOINT needs.
- Identifying gaps in current GEOINT data and developing Future Intelligence Problems (FIPs) and All-Source Tasks (ASTs) to mitigate information shortfalls.
- Managing and maintaining requirements data using SQL and MS Access while performing quality assurance and data exports for modeling and simulation tools.
- Researching and drafting mission-based scenarios and study decks based on Defense Planning Guidance to test future capability requirements.
- Developing high-level briefing materials, guidance statements, and technical reports for senior leadership and partners.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 11+ years of progressively responsible experience, or 15+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Significant experience in Collection Management, GEOINT, and/or the Intelligence Community (IC).
- Knowledge of GEOINT topics including the National Intelligence Prioritization Framework (NIPF), phenomenology, and NIIRS.
