In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex Mid-Corporate Portfolio Management initiatives, including those that are cross-functional and have broad impact

  • Act as key participant in large-scale planning for Mid Corporate Portfolio Management functional area

  • Review and analyze complex multi faceted, large scale, and long-term business, operational, or technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors

  • Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring understanding of Mid Corporate Portfolio Management functional area, policies, procedures and compliance requirements that influence and lead a broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives

  • Collaborate and consult with Mid Corporate Portfolio Management peers, colleagues, and middle to senior level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

  • Lead mid Corporate Portfolio Management projects and teams

  • Serve as a peer mentor


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Mid-Corporate Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience underwriting in Restaurant Finance

  • Experience managing complex credit and capital structures, including M&A and/or sponsor-backed transactions within corporate or commercial banking, investment banking, leveraged finance, private credit, private equity, or ratings agencies.

  • Significant experience with credit documentation and administrative agent duties on syndicated transactions, including term sheets, credit agreements, and intercreditor provisions.

  • Experience identifying risk, ensuring compliance with processes and credit policy, and structuring covenants and protections.

  • Knowledge and understanding of other core banking products and services, including treasury management / deposits, rates and FX, and capital markets

  • Strong analytical skills, with heightened attention to detail and accuracy

  • Advanced proficiency in accounting principles, financial statement analysis, financial modeling and business writing.

  • Experience developing and maintaining external and internal partnerships 

  • Experience in adopting and executing change management to enable business growth  

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

  • Completion of a formal training program 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business

Job Expectations:

  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule (1 day per week WFH)

  • Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. Information will be shared about expectations during the recruitment process 

  • Ability to travel up to 10-15% of the time

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
