Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting seasonal opportunity? ReadyRefresh by BlueTriton Brands is looking for Seasonal Fleet Technicians.
This seasonal role is full-time active during our “busy season” which will vary year to year. If you would like to have some extra income, please read on.
The Seasonal Fleet Technician’s primary purpose is to repair and maintain fleet vehicles and equipment such as gas and diesel engines, hydraulic systems, air brakes, forklifts, tankers, and trailers. This position will support BlueTriton Brands temporarily due to customer demand.
Pay Range: $32 - $37 / hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm
A typical day might include:
- Troubleshooting and repairing fleet vehicles and equipment
- Programing and recording assigned preventative maintenance tasks
- Assisting in education of the Route Sales Representatives’ pre and post-trip inspections
- Receiving and processing invoices for payment for multiple locations and dealing with vendors
- Maintaining parts inventory and budgets
- Ensuring safe work practices
Qualifications
Key Qualifications
- Minimum three years hands-on experience in automotive, truck or construction commercial equipment repair
- Mechanical or technical graduate preferred, but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft office programs
- Cummins, Ford, or other engine manufacturer diagnostic tool proficiency
- Ability to handle physical requirements, including, but not limited to, repeated bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting up to 60 pounds
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to obtain CDL B within specified period of time if offered a full-time position.
- ASE Certification required within specified period of time if offered a full-time position
- Must possess personal tools
- Positive team-player attitude
- Possesses exceptional work ethic, energy, and drive
