What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assigning Production Operators specific tasks, balancing workload inside the area, conducting quick changeovers, and guaranteeing the quality of products.
• Training Production Operators on specific tasks if necessary.
• Ensuring that rules and guidelines are being followed, including lean manufacturing and safety principles.
• Maximizing time to achieve department goals and productivity.
• Keeping the work area clean and organized.
• Communicating problems and needs to the Group Leader, so that they may provide the needed resources to address the issues.
• Performing the above items while doing direct labor in the assigned area.
• Recommending and/or participating in GK initiatives and ideas.
