Summary
The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for correlating clinical education with didactic education, and evaluating students and clinical education effectiveness. Assists with review and revision of clinical course materials. Ensures compliance with the standards for accredited educational programs in the School of Imaging Sciences. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values.

REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree required by the JRCERT accreditation program.
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience in the professional discipline.
- Minimum of one year of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program
- Must be ARRT certified in Radiography AND certified in the appropriate credential(s) specific to the educational program.
- Effective June 1, 2018: New Hires and Transfers are required to have current BLS Certification.

SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED:
Individuals who lack one (1) or more of the required qualifications delineated in the relevant accreditation standards must attain these qualifications within twelve (12) months, with the exception of individuals lacking the degree requirement. Degree requirements must be obtained within twenty-four (24) months.

- Demonstrated knowledge of the professional discipline and educational methodologies through continuing professional development.

Physical Requirements
- The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
- Must have good balance and coordination.
- The physical requirements of this position are: medium work - exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 25 lbs. of force frequently.
- The Associate is required to have close visual acuity including color, depth perception, and field of vision to perform an activity, such as assessing patients, preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading.
- Frequent invasive and non-invasive patient contact.
- Exposure to patient body fluids as well as exposure to hazardous or poisonous materials.
- Ability to react quickly to emergency situations.
