Process Engineering Intern

We are seeking an undergraduate sophomore, junior, or Master-level student, working towards a degree in chemical engineering or related field, for a 10-Week Student Intern role in Durham, NC for a May 19th - August 8th contract period.

Position Duties:

• Engage in process modeling for capsule filling, contributing to developing an end-to-end AI-powered digital twin for inhaled biologics.
• Collaborate with team members and participate in meetings.
• Collect data and present project findings at the end of the internship period.

Position Requirements:

• Undergraduate sophomore, junior, or Master-level student, working towards a degree in chemical engineering or related field. **Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.

• Relevant engineering coursework completed.

• An interest in the pharmaceutical industry.

• Software exposure to Aspen Plus or GProms.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.
• Applicants must have work authorization that does not, now or in the future, require sponsorship of a visa (e.g., CPT, H1-B, F-1 (OPT), TN, or other non-immigrant status).
• Ability to report onsite to Durham, NC five days a week. This role will not provide relocation assistance.
• Minimum grade point average of 3.0.
