Job Description:

This role will provide high visibility across Senior Leaders within the FCS organization.  It sits within the FCS Improvement Office and will help set the direction and vision for how the Strategic Project Planning & Delivery operating model is administered and ensures consistent execution of all core processes. 

What You’ll Do

  • Help define and manage the execution of the operating model and/or framework.

  • Produce regular reporting on organizational priorities and project statuses.

  • Manage intake of new initiatives and capture FCS impact.

  • Create awareness to ensure alignment across FCS leaders and Product Teams.

  • Ensure portfolio alignment and prioritization with FCS Senior Leadership.

  • Provide relevant and timely information to drive informed decision making to ensure selection of projects align to business goals.

  • Ensures Product Team coordination and dependency resolution is occurring.

  • Ensure alignment with enterprise-wide processes and governance (i.e., NIO, JIRA SDLC)

  • Facilitate regularly scheduled meetings including New Initiatives Impact Assessment and FCS 360.

  • Co-lead the creation and improvement of processes and standards to ensure the team continues to drive value to the FCS organization.

  • Partner with the Product Areas/Families to oversee the flow of work through system, including intake, prioritization, tracking and reporting, to enable the business teams and leadership see progress, remove blockers, and make decisions needed to deliver the most value to the organization.

  • Provide management, oversight, and support to all Product Area members, collaborating across varying levels and roles, leading teams towards portfolio prioritization, resource utilization as well as overall company growth and improvement.

  • Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

How You’ll Do It

  • Builds relationships with key stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Partner with product and technology leaders to drive value-based prioritization through financial evaluation of investments, develop business strategy and approach to translate ideas into executable portfolios that align with vision and strategy.

  • Facilitate the Intake process for new work entering the portfolio, ensuring work is aligned to goals and has clearly defined scope and value and gains all necessary approvals (i.e., risk, architecture, finance etc.).

  • Oversee the planning of Initiatives from inceptions through implementation and ensure adherence to industry, technology and business processes and standards.

  • Provide transparency and insights to the work and value expected within the portfolio to reflect the priorities of the teams and efficiency of delivery to drive actions and decisions. Orchestrates workflows across teams and complex portfolios in a matrixed operating model to align on timing of delivery and ensure operational readiness, risk assessments, and training considerations have been made to enable utilization and go to market of products.

  • Has a fundamental understanding of Product functionality, capabilities and major components and customers and products to drive value, collaboration across the product areas and identify any potential areas of risk.

Qualifications You’ll Need

The Basics

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business

  • 4+ years of experience in Product, Business, Technical, or related field

  • In lieu of education, 6+ years of experience in Product, Business, Technical, or related field

Preferred

  • 3+ years project management governance, process documentation

  • Strong communication skills

  • Experienced in interacting with Senior Leaders

  • Relationship builder

Compensation:
