About the role

Corporate finance department staff are responsible for assisting with the preparation and review of financial loan/borrowing documents, including offering and bond documents, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) documents, and related SEC filings, assisting with preparing financial presentations for banking and lending institutions, rating agencies and other parties as well as debt administration, loan compliance obligations, interest rate forecasts and risk management activities.

Note: There is one position available, and this position will be filled at one of four job grade levels: Corporate Finance Analyst I; job grade 5; Corporate Finance Analyst II, job grade 7; Corporate Finance Analyst III; job grade 8 or Senior Corporate Finance Analyst; job grade 10. This decision will be based on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate and Tri-State business needs at the time of hire.

Hiring Salary Range: $109,000-$139,000

 

Corporate Finance Analyst III

Hiring Salary Range: $88,000-$111,000

 

Corporate Finance Analyst II

Hiring Salary Range: $80,000-$99,000

 

Corporate Finance Analyst I

Hiring Salary Range: $64,000-$79,000

 

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary outside of the posted hiring salary range based upon work experience, education and/or skill level.

  • Assist with preparation and review of debt documents, including credit agreements, offering documents, bond documents, SEC documents, and filings.
  • Prepare analysis of specific financing alternatives, buy vs. lease analysis, asset liability management and other financial analysis as required.
  • Assist with preparation and development of presentations and materials provided to investment banks, commercial banks, lenders, rating agencies and other parties.
  • Assist with maintaining records of all financing and related activities.
  • Maintain economic and statistical information and produce reports as needed.
  • Assist with processing of interest, principal, and lease payments
  • Maintain records related to loan contracts including interest accruals and amortization schedules and prepare appropriate journal entries and payment vouchers.
  • Establish, document, and maintain all appropriate procedures for loans, leases and other debt and related obligations, including procedures for Sarbanes Oxley compliance.
  • Assist with the development and administration of the debt and lease management function annual budget, monthly financial forecast, and weekly cash flow forecasting.
  • Maintain contacts with appropriate financial institutions and governmental agencies to facilitate debt and lease arrangements.
  • Assist in the administration of the corporate card program.
  • Flowchart and document all procedures.
  • Back up other team members as appropriate including cash management team.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures and attain knowledge and remain knowledgeable of regulations, laws, standards, and best practices applicable to functional area.
  • Safety: Maintain safety awareness and comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures to assure a safe working environment. Properly wear and care for applicable safety gear and equipment. Identify and communicate unsafe conditions to supervisors, coworkers, and the Safety functional area and correct or assist in resolving safety concerns and issues. Must understand and comply with the Clearance Procedure as applicable.
