Visa’s Global Data Office (GDO) is seeking a Senior Executive Administrator reporting to the Global Data Office’s Chief of Staff.
We’re scouting for an experienced event planning professional and administrator to support the ongoing development of our world-class team. This individual will provide foundational support to our team resources to facilitate programming and operations that benefit the Global Data Office community (including colleagues in 39 markets, the Global Data Office Leadership Team, and Chief Data Officer). The Senior Executive Administrator will be the backbone to the Global Data Office’s core team communications and programming for both front and back of house. They will manage key details, small and large, work that will demand speed, precision, and solid judgment.
Core to the role is the responsibility to support the forward planning of the Global Data Office’s programs including on-the-ground logistics, scheduling, and event and travel planning as required. We are seeking someone with an established track record of executing high-quality team programs and events, and efficiently managing complex logistics and travel. Of note, the position will not manage the Chief Data Officer’s daily calendar, ongoing day-to-day administrative support, and immediate troubleshooting.
To be successful, a creative willingness and resourcefulness to self-produce, use internal assets, and think like an entrepreneur will be essential. To thrive, a successful candidate should have a ready willingness to stress the details to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Essential to this role are excellent record management habits, spreadsheet fluency, modern and user-friendly design thinking, as well as a relentless focus on anticipating needs. A consistently high operational standard and above-average fluency in Microsoft Office software is non-negotiable. Confidence to ask probing questions and thinking critically will serve the position well.
