The Opioid Epidemic is a public health crisis with a highly effective but underutilized clinical intervention - millions of Americans are physically dependent on Opioids but only 10% of those likely to have OUD actually access treatment. Bicycle Health addresses this gap by maximizing accessibility, affordability, and overall quality of care by enabling highly qualified clinicians to reach patients broadly and efficiently through our online platform.
The Senior Community Outreach Specialist (based in Detroit, MI) plays a key role within the Growth Operations team to shape Bicycle Health’s thought leadership agenda and develop our unique value proposition as a team focused on partnering with stakeholders across assigned geography and/or accounts. The Community Outreach Specialist will be responsible for driving referrals and partnerships with healthcare providers, clinics, correctional health facilities, and community organizations. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with community stakeholders to generate patient referrals and increase enrollment in Bicycle Health's MAT services.
Location: Bicycle Health is a fully remote company; however will engage with various community stakeholders, therefore must be based in Detroit, Michigan
Schedule: Full time (40 hrs)
Target Pay Range: $101,280 per year + Eligible for EOY Bonus up to 25% of base salary - Compensation to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

You can expect to:
- Execute on the community partnership strategy, and business plan to contribute to departmental sales goals and enrollment targets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers, clinics, and community organizations to foster referral partnerships.
- Expand upon existing community partnership relationships to increase the value of the partnership by introducing quality driven, value-based models, and/or expanding go-to-market efforts.
- Identify and target new opportunities to generate patient referrals in the assigned region.
- Train referral sources on the process of referring patients and ensure they have the tools and resources to do so effectively.
- Provide ongoing support to referral partners to address questions and troubleshoot challenges.
- Work closely with the Enrollment Team to ensure seamless conversion of referrals into patient enrollments.
- Address barriers to referral generation and provide tailored solutions to partners.
- Maintain a strong focus on helping the market understand Bicycle Health’s unique value proposition.
- Monitor the healthcare industry landscape to identify opportunities and trends relevant for Bicycle Health.
- Document progress in sales support applications and communicate consistently regarding forecasting.
- Monitor referral data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, using data insights to refine regional strategies and improve outreach effectiveness.
- Become a subject matter expert regarding the community partnership program and implementation for assigned partnerships and territory.
- Leverage payor relationships to develop strategic partnerships increasing access to their membership and key referral base through joint marketing or target outreach.
- Build awareness in the organization on how best to work with and leverage community partnerships.
Qualities we're looking for:
- Must be based in Detroit, Michigan.
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, marketing, or a related field.
- 4-7 years of experience in healthcare outreach, sales, account management, or partnerships.
- At least 2 years of project manager experience with a partnership aspect.
- Existing relationships with behavioral health providers, healthcare systems and payors in a regional and strategic community partnership relationship.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate goals into actionable plans.
- Consistent access to a private work environment with high speed internet and professionally appropriate surroundings for frequent video conferencing and a workstation setup conducive to remote work needs.
This is a full-time (40hrs per week) position.
