Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a safety and quality minded First Line Leader (Level K) to join our 737 Final Assembly Team in Renton, Washington on 2nd shift.

Candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be able to inspire others during moments of change. This includes delivering good news and leading difficult conversations. Position Responsibilities

• Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.
• Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
• Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Coaches, develops and motivates employees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• 1+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing
• 1+ years of experience using lean manufacturing and/or continuous improvement practices and tools
• 1+ years of experience in leadership either formally or informally leading teams in a cross-functional environment
• Ability to work any variable shifts, including overtime and weekends

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• Demonstrated adaptability when faced with a new challenge
• Ability to motivate, inspire, and forge meaningful connections when under pressure
• Passion for celebrating successes and ability to identify "small wins" for the team
• 3+ years of management experience
• Post-Secondary education
