PGIM Quantitative Solutions is looking for an Investment Vice President to work within their Multi-Asset Portfolio Management Team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for daily management of strategic and tactical asset allocation exposures across many asset classes and investment strategies.

What you can expect:

  • You will manage multi-asset class portfolios in line with client guidelines, internal investment policies, and regulatory constraints

  • You will work closely with other team members to execute tactical asset allocation views with consistency and scale, including determining optimal instruments to trade based on fund-specific, regulatory and market-related consideration

  • You will help enhancing and scaling investment processes to further empower the team’s oversight over portfolio management activities and mitigate risks

  • You will develop macroeconomic and market research that can be used to enhance the firm’s investment strategies

  • You will craft thought leadership for internal and external audiences, including marketing presentations, white papers, economic and market commentary, client case studies, etc.

  • You will participate in internal and external client meetings

What you will bring:

  • Master’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics or related discipline required

  • 5+ years of experience in tactical asset allocation and/or multi-asset investing

  • Strong quantitative skills

  • Strong knowledge of asset classes (fixed income, equities, and alternatives), drivers of returns instruments (futures, forwards, options, swaps, ETFs, funds)

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

  • Ability to solve problems in a creatively and deliver high quality results in a timely fashion

  • Ability to effectively communicate sophisticated concepts, ideas, and processes to both internal and external audience

What will set you apart?

  • Programming in MATLAB or Python and working knowledge of SQL

  • PhD

  • Media presentation experience
