Who We Need

Sabel Systems is now accepting applications from Marine Corps logistics professionals interested in providing support services to the Marine Corps’ Logistics Plans and Operations Branch (LPO). The overall objective of this contract is to provide operational expertise, prepositioning strategies, and war reserve management support to the LPO branch, DC I&L, and DC PP&O. This support will span current and future operations, strategic mobility planning and GPN integration, with dedicated liaisons to MARFOR/MEFs, and also includes executive administrative support.  The primary objective of this support is to enhance the effectiveness of the Marine Corps’ prepositioning and war reserve capabilities.

Sabel Systems requires a Strategic Mobility and Force Deployment Planning and Execution (FDP&E) Subject Matter Expert to support LPO-3.  The contractor will assist in the development, refinement and analyzing of logistics policies applicable to Marine Corps logistics services capabilities, with special emphasis on Strategic Mobility and Force Deployment Planning and Execution (FDP&E).  The contractor must possess the skills to plan, organize and lead logistics study teams and to negotiate effectively with high level officials to accept and implement recommendations when proposals involve substantial agency resources, requirements for extensive changes in established work processes, programs and operations, and/or entail conflicts with functional elements and commands.  The contractor will serve as the lead SME for Marine Corps strategic mobility. All work will be performed at the Pentagon.  Services require occasional domestic and international travel.  This position requires a Secret clearance.

•    The contractor will support the management of the Sea Service Deployment Module (SSDM) system to provide continuity in the program management of the system;
•    The contractor will support synchronization efforts with representatives of U.S. Transportation Command (USTC), Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC), Air Mobility Command (AMC), Military Sealift Command (MSC) and other DOD services and agencies;
•    The contractor will support the Transportation Distribution Information Systems. The contractor will prepare documentation to support the unit move processes, to include In-transit visibility manifests and Special Assigned Airlift Mission (SAAM) requests;
•    The contractor will assist with preparing, gathering and analyzing data on a variety of transportation, deployment, mobility and distribution processes, issues and programs. These programs include but are not limited to the Single Mobility System and the Integrated Development Environment / Global Transportation Network Convergence (IGC);
•    The contractor will analyze and identifies the adequacy of transportation and mobility solutions for Marine Corps forces to support U.S. CONPLANS and OPLANS;
•    The contractor will have knowledge of contingency deployment transportation methods, strategic mobility solutions and theater distribution;
•    The contractor will review Marine Corps programs, identifies problems and initiate cost-effective alternative policies and programs;
