About the Role
Leadership & Operations
Oversee daily operations of assigned outpatient clinics, including rural health clinics, provider practices, and specialty services.
Support clinic staff, providers, and patients by promoting efficient workflows, timely access to care, and a positive experience.
Help create a culture of teamwork, accountability, kindness, professionalism, and excellent customer service.
What You’ll Do
Lead and support clinic supervisors, clinical staff, and support staff.
Coordinate staffing, scheduling, patient flow, and provider templates to improve access and efficiency.
Partner with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing leadership, Revenue Cycle, Quality, Infection Prevention, Human Resources, Finance, IT, and Marketing.
Monitor clinic performance, patient satisfaction, no-show rates, referral processing, charge capture, and productivity metrics.
Support regulatory compliance, survey readiness, staff education, policy adherence, and quality improvement initiatives.
Coach, mentor, and engage staff while helping build a workplace where people feel valued and supported.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; or Associate’s degree in Nursing with five or more years of clinic experience.
Minimum of three years of healthcare supervisory or management experience.
Experience in a physician practice, outpatient clinic, ambulatory care, or similar healthcare setting.
Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications are helpful, but not required:
Rural healthcare or Critical Access Hospital experience.
Current Michigan RN license.
Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience with electronic medical records, practice management systems, revenue cycle processes, or quality improvement.
