Trainee* Project and Product Management

Your trainee journey 2024/2026
 

Are you passionate about driving the energy turnaround? You want to shape the future together with a globally leading company specialized in system solutions for renewable energy? Then start your professional career with our trainee program and work with us on solutions for a future-proof and climate-friendly energy supply. During your 24-month journey, you will rotate through various business areas and get to know SMA, even in one of our foreign subsidiaries. You will help shape your own trainee program in on one of our buisness segments with a focus on product and project management.

 

Your contribution to the big picture
 

• As a trainee, you will be integrated into one of the business segments right from the start and take direct responsibility for your own projects and tasks  
• You will focus on product and project management and will also work in other areas of the company
• You will learn how product strategies and roadmaps are developed in order to improve and expand our product portfolio
• You will work closely with interface departments such as Development, Marketing and Sales to ensure the implementation of our product strategies
• You will support us in conducting market and competitive analyses and identifying trends and opportunities for product innovations and new services
• You proactively approach other functional areas and build up a company-wide network
• In addition to working at the head office, you will also get to know the areas of activity within our subsidiaries during your time abroad  

 

Your skills are needed

 

• We are looking for trainees who want to make a difference and play an active role in shaping the company as well as have an enthusiasm for renewable energies and topics relating to product and project management
• You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in an economic, technical or economic-technical field of study
• You are interested in product and project management and have some initial knowledge from your studies
• You have exciting practical experience in a corporate context (e.g. vocational training, subject-related internships, study-related jobs)
• You have completed your studies before the start of the program
• You should have no more than 3 years of professional experience after graduation (we have great other offers for experienced professionals at www.sma.de/career )
• You solve problems analytically and use your innovative skills and ability to think independently to generate new solutions
• You enjoy communicating and presenting in German and English at different levels
