• A full stack engineer is a person that has a breadth of knowledge in computer science, a problem-solving mentality, and a desire to learn.

• This person is comfortable working within a technical capacity across many of the sectors including core development on platform & you will be responsible for providing support for all activities related to the CICD, ETL, Database Operations, Project Support activities, and execution.

• The Full stack will be working in a team that demands technical excellence and whose members are expected to hold each other accountable in the overall success of the output. Focus for this team is on the delivery of innovative solutions to complex problems.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Full Stack software engineer to join our team with at least 5+ years of experience on AWS Cloud Platform, multiple databases, and hands-on technical skills on Devops tools .As Full Stack software engineer, you will be responsible for providing support for all activities related to the ETL, Database Operations, Project Support activities, and execution. Must have thorough understanding of database concepts, AWS Cloud Computing concepts, Understanding of Data De-Identification algorithms and experience in deploying complex solutions and be an innovative problem-solver. Furthermore, you must have the ability and discipline to work.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter expert using software engineering to perform data analysis.

• Support various Cigna organizations with hands-on architecture and design skills. Partial virtual/work from home benefit available.  

• Develop data pipelines to integrate with enterprise data steams - Cloud and on-perm

• Collaborate on architecture decisions and develop solutions in AWS - Including Python, Databricks and Teradata Vantage/Vantage Cloud Lake.

• Migrating On-Premises solution to cloud including Teradata Vantage.

• Developed and maintained automated workflows to regularly de-identify data & implemented data masking techniques to protect sensitive business data across multiple databases.

• Use industry-leading DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and AWS CloudFormation.

• Play a technical role in driving innovative analytical methods to better align IT analytics with the organization’s short-term and long-term goals, adding value by adopting software engineering best practices.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of diverse Technology experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Software development.

• 5+ years being part of Agile teams – Scrum or Kanban

• 5 + years’ experience with GitHub, Jenkins and CICD tools.

• 4+ years of working in AWS utilizing services such as: EC2, Glue, IAM, EKS, EMR, Terraform, CloudWatch.

• 4+ years of scripting Expertise in Python, Spark

• Experience with big data technologies like Databricks, Spark, etc.

• Experience with big data warehousing databases platform like Teradata (Vantage)/ Vantage Cloud Lake or any RDBMS system/ ETL Tools.

• Experience with Data De-identification tools (e.g. Delphix) to anonymize/masking sensitive data.

• Good experience on designing and developing data pipelines for data ingestion and transformation using Spark.

• Experience with source code control systems like Gitlab.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills

• Strong communication skills

• Fluent in BDD and TDD development methodologies

• Knowledge and/or experience with Health care information domains is a plus.

• AWS ,Teradata Vantage and Databricks Certification preferred.
