Position Overview

We are seeking an IT PMO Analyst to join our Global IT Architecture team in Atlanta, GA for a unique opportunity that will directly support the Office of the CIO and PMO tools and operations. Under the direction of the Senior Manager, IT PMO & Strategic Planning, the IT PMO Analyst will collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to gather information and create compelling communications related to the IT strategy with limited supervision. The individual selected will be in a high visibility role supporting the Office of the CIO and executive leadership on a global scale!

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Supports the PMO Intake and Demand process compiling, synthesizing, and publishing IT project portfolio reporting.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers to ensure accuracy of data entered portfolio management tool and adhering to proper governance processes.
  • Provides analytical support across the PMO, flexing across the project portfolio as needed to support analysis efforts, change management, solution research, and other critical needs of the project lifecycles.
  • Supports the CIO's reporting and score-carding of IT project performance in close coordination with leadership.
  • Supports cross-functional partners as part of both the annual and ad-hoc demand management process to develop project business cases.
  • Assists with the promotion and compliance of PMO standards and frameworks, developing, tracking, and reporting overall PMO KPIs.
  • Lead and administer the department's tool for project and portfolio reporting and tracking.
  • Promotes awareness and shares best practices and lessons learned that contribute to the continuous improvement of the PMO function.
  • Works with leadership to communicate IT planning activities and business goals. Supports preparation of communications materials (e.g., PowerPoint, Internal IT Newsletter).
  • Support presentations and educate teams, executives, and shareholders about organizational news, processes, and updates.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience with professional communications and IT project management.
  • Demonstrated experience producing executive-level reporting and presentations.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and broad business strategies and convert them into practical effective communication strategies.
  • Strong desktop technology skills, including Office 365, MS Teams, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using PPM tools to management project portfolios and programs, such as with portfolio project management (PPM) tools, such as Accolade, ServiceNow, Clarity, or similar tools.
  • Working knowledge of project methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
  • Communication Management Professional (CMP) certification.
  • Strategic Communication Management (SCM) certification.
  • CAPM, PMP certification.
