What’s the role?

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to help develop and implement our international search strategy.

You will partner closely with a cross functional team spanning the gamut of engineering, data science, and machine learning. As a highly inquisitive and data oriented individual, you will help build and deliver a customer-centric strategy, empowering buyers to find special products available nowhere else. Do you love working with a wide set of teams to help support Etsy’s wider international strategy while solving extremely sophisticated problems such as how currency fluctuations could determine supply routes? If so, this could be the perfect match!

This is a full-time position reporting to the Director, Product Management and the base salary range will be 172,000 - 224,000 USD. In addition to salary, you will also be eligible for an equity package, an annual performance bonus, and our competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Etsy. For this role, we are considering candidates based in the United States who are either remote, flex, or office-based. What’s this team like at Etsy?

• International Search is a critical team at Etsy. It has generated hundreds of millions of dollars of impact and is a key player in growing our international buyer and seller base and is one of our oldest Search teams experiencing exceptionally low turn over while being easy to work with. They are passionate about helping international buyers and sellers succeed on our platform and 2022 was another bumper year for innovation within team. They have shipped meaningful improvements to search relevancy across a number of state of the art systems.

What does the day-to-day look like?

• Work to develop a longer term product strategy for continued customer impact and innovation in the international work space.
• Collaborate within the Search org and more widely across Etsy to aid in Etsy’s international strategy.
• Mentor the team, helping discover customer problems and reasonable solutions to help grow our international presence.
• Apply economic principles to identify trade-offs in approaches to account for short-term and long-term goals.
• A consistent advocate for our customer needs.
