This role is based at our Lynn, MA site, with responsibility for a global portfolio. Lynn is a key GE Aerospace location supporting advanced military and commercial engines, with a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
The T700/CT7 long-term service contracts are among the most impactful service agreements within our Defense & Systems business and are critical to supporting international military customer readiness. Key customer accounts may include TrueChoice Defense agreements across Europe, the Americas, MENAT, APAC, as well as global T700/CT7 MRO partners.
Role Overview
The T700/CT7 International Contract Performance Manager serves as the primary point of contact for assigned customers and is accountable for overall contract performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will lead all aspects of long-term service contract execution, including business development and renewals, digital fleet management product service strategy, and total program leadership across internal GE functions. You will manage complex issues, influence strategy within your area of responsibility, and contribute directly to GE Aerospace’s global Defense & Systems objectives and customer readiness goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Own contract performance: Lead all contract performance–related activities for assigned customers, typically tied to a customer site, acting as the primary interface between the customer and GE project and support teams.
- Customer interface & communication: Manage the transfer of information and requests, ensure timely resolution of issues, keep customers informed of progress, and represent GE in business and contractual discussions.
- Contract execution & compliance: Ensure adherence to contract service, operations, and performance specifications, as well as financial and technical metrics specific to each agreement.
- Proposal & negotiation: Perform proposal, negotiation, and contract administration functions on assigned proposals/contracts with minimal supervision, including leading renewal and business development opportunities.
- Program leadership: Provide total program leadership, coordinating GE support functions and organizations to meet readiness, performance, and profitability targets for assigned customer(s).
- Financial performance: Manage the Contract Margin Review process and associated profitability metrics; establish productivity goals by contract or product; review invoices and drive timely cash collection.
- Planning & execution: Develop and manage program plans related to contract performance, including contract flow-down, customer shop visit forecasts, and the organization and support of program and technical reviews with customers.
- Strategy & improvement: Influence the development of strategy for your area of responsibility, recommend best practices to improve products, processes, and services, and stay informed of industry trends that may inform work.
