Illegal Pete's is hiring for a hospitality focused Bartender to join the fun in our Boulder market!  Bartenders are responsible for prepping and serving drinks, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe environment for all.    

Bartenders also work on the front-line as needed.  Front Line Crew Members are the face and hands of Illegal Pete's, interacting with our guests on a daily basis, creating the great food and the welcoming environment that we're known for. In addition to bar, other positions may include hot, cold, digital, or cashier.

MORE MONEY - $25.30 - $33.65 per hour including tips! 

We believe in paying a Living Wage and that’s why your base rate plus tips will allow you to make more than any other fast casual around. Bartender base rate of $12.55 + direct tips ($15-$25/hour).  Front-line crew base rate starting at $18.81 + tips depending on experience, skill, and/or education. All in benefits and pay up to $68,000 per year!

Requirements of the job

• Create an atmosphere that celebrates individuality and relaxed human connection
• Deliver excellent guest service
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time, ability to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds
• Certain other physical requirements may apply, as reasonably applicable in a standard kitchen/restaurant environment

Bar Specifics

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and N/A beverages
• Deliver excellent customer service, including taking orders, providing recommendations, and creating an atmosphere of relaxed human connection
• Check ID's and monitor customer behavior in accordance with responsible alcohol service
• Must be 21+ years of age
• Previous bartending experience preferred
• Certification in responsible alcohol service (TIPS / ServSafe) a plus
