Job Description

ARHS Spikeseed is looking for a Senior Microsoft Dynamics CRM Software Engineer due to additional demands and increasing challenges (maintenance on projects in production, new large-scale projects & changes on deployed projects), for one of its clients, a key player in the Belgian health insurance domain.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conceiving, developing or adapting the applications for a domain as described by the functional and business analysis and in regard to user requirements
  • Ensuring the proper understanding of all the requirements
  • Translating functional and business requirements in programming language and architecture
  • Studying and discussing the functional analysis with the designated internal contact
  • Conducting test driven development
  • Testing the program in the integrated environment following the Agile method
  • Documenting the software
  • Reporting potential issues to the functional analysts, proposing the optimal solution for the achievement of the best result
  • Evaluating the impact of potential changes on the software modules and reporting any potential problems

Secondary Tasks and responsibilities

  • Quality assurance
  • Writing the test scenarios
  • Testing the final solution & documenting the test results
  • Solving testing problems and retesting
  • Putting in practice the improvement actions and good practices of software development

Qualifications

You profile

  • Master’s degree in computer science OR equivalent through experience. Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred
  • Certified Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement
  • Strong tracking, coordination and project planning skills
  • Able to establish and manage engagement objectives, expectations and quality plan
  • Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
  • Quick learner, motivated self-starter
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
  • Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines
  • Leadership skills
  • Very good Coaching & training skills
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of French or Dutch would be an asset

Technical profile requirements

  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Customer Engagement CRM
  • +3 years of experience with Dynamics 365 Sales & Servicing
  • +5 years of active working experience with .Net
  • Expert knowledge of .Net
  • Good knowledge of Agile, Object-oriented programming
  • Good knowledge of JIRA, SVN
  • Working Knowledge of SSIS & Kingswaysoft
  • Working Knowledge of SSRS
  • IBM minded
