Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future performance and analyze trends.
  • Collaborate with department heads to create and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance financial performance.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular financial reports for management, summarizing key metrics and variances.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, identifying areas of improvement and making strategic recommendations.
  • Monitor and analyze financial KPIs to assess the company's overall financial health.

Budget Management:

  • Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and control of the annual budget.
  • Work closely with department heads to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  • Evaluate budget variances and provide explanations for discrepancies.

Financial Forecasting:

  • Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess potential impacts on financial performance.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial forecasts to support decision-making processes.

Financial Reporting Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and accounting standards.
  • Participate in the preparation of financial statements for external reporting.

Data Management:

  • Maintain and organize financial databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Implement efficient data collection processes to streamline financial analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  • 3 - 5 years' experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
