About the role
As our Principal M365 Engineer and Data Analyst, you will be responsible for creating processes and frameworks that deliver an efficient and effective knowledge management system. You will work across the company to bring data and information to light that drives daily and strategic work. You will be accountable for the effectiveness of our information creation, delivery and lifecycle. You will play a key role in helping the company achieve and maintain CMMC L2 certification.
What you'll do
- Serve as the technical expert on SharePoint and related M365 technologies.
- Align processes and technology to enable information sharing across teams using SharePoint best practices.
- Coordinate with all levels of organization across multiple job sites to research, analyze, and recommend solutions to meet current and future information sharing requirements.
- Design, build, customize, and troubleshoot SharePoint sites, pages, banners, web parts and workflows in coordination with information technology staff.
- Deliver a consistent experience across SharePoint and associated systems.
- Create SharePoint business solutions using custom web parts, SharePoint Designer, Power Apps, workflows, Power BI, etc.
- Provide knowledge management support to develop and implement electronic file storage structures, methods, and workflows.
- Establish best practices, recommendations and solutions for implementing full document lifecycle management.
- Implement site, library, and document access control measures as required in collaboration with our OpSec team.
- Maintain site functionality and security, identifying and resolving any SharePoint issues (i.e., permissions, groups, web part, site creation, navigation, workflows, etc.).
- Maintain and update site content to ensure relevance and accuracy.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of SharePoint and M365 experience with at least 5+ years within the Defense Industrial Base.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years’ experience in M365 GCC High is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills; Assisting with internal and external communication and improving transparency
- Programming experience is a big plus.
- Demonstrated record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others.
- Demonstrated ability to create innovative solutions that create exceptional collaborative environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects at scale and across functions with high level of execution and quality.
- Experience in a start-up or similar fast-paced environment .
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
US Salary Range
$200,000—$245,000
Location: On-Site in Clarksburg, MD
The salary range for this role is an estimate and is based on a wide variety of compensation factors. The salary offered to candidates will vary based on a variety of factors including (but not limited to) relevant work experience, education, specialized training, critical expertise, training, and more.
