Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Dental Assistant Program.  This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach Dental Assistaing courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation. 

Qualifications

• Completion of a Dental Assistant program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma; and associate degree is highly desired
• Certifications:
  • CDA and/or
  • RDA and/or
  • EFDA
  • and RHD
• At least three years of experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized, motivated and results driven
• Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
