About the role

We are now looking for a Production Test Engineer within production equipment – with a focus on developing, building and commissioning final test solutions for electronics. You will be part of a highly technical environment where you work closely with Production, R&D and Quality – and where your solutions are used in real production, every day. You will become part of a collaborative team of 11 people.

In the role you will develop and improve final test solutions for electronic products. You will design test fixtures, test methods and automated test flows, and support production during implementation and troubleshooting. You will play an important role in the industrialization of new products and contribute to building robust test solutions with high repeatability and quality.

Example of responsibilities

  • Develop and build final test equipment for electronic products

  • Design test fixtures and test adapter solutions

  • Define test requirements and verify test coverage in collaboration with R&D and Quality

  • Commission test equipment in production and train users

  • Troubleshoot test equipment and contribute to continuous improvements

  • Document test solutions, work instructions and production documentation

Qualifications

  • A YH degree or a Bachelor degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation or equivalent

  • At least 2 years of experience in test development for electronics, preferably in a production environment

  • Fluent in both Swedish and English

  • Strong understanding of electronics: measurements, signals and communication interfaces

  • Experience with measurement instruments and test equipment (e.g. DMM, oscilloscope, power supplies, CAN)

  • A hands-on mindset – you really enjoy building, wiring, measuring and troubleshooting!

Nice to have

  • Experience with LabVIEW / TestStand

  • Programming skills in Python, C#, C/C++ or similar

  • Experience with HIL, CAN/LIN, or embedded systems

  • Knowledge of ESD, production testing and traceability

  • Experience with CE compliance, equipment safety and risk assessments

Why us

  • We have a practical and collaborative engineering culture with access to a well equipped lab.

  • We work cross functionally, with close cooperation between R&D and QA.

  • Thrive in a flat organization with short decision-making paths.

  • Two hours of weekly training during work hours alongside your colleagues.

  • And more!
