MANUFACTURING TECH DIRECT - PLANT 2 - 1ST SHIFT

• Must actively support our Health, Safety and Environmental Policies, immediately report all dangerous situations, and correct them when able to do so safely, participate in all required Safety Training, meetings, inspections and use all required PPE. 
• Support the manufacturing department by coordinating the work area production requirements. 
• May also perform a variety of routine or standard assembly operations on mechanical and/or electrical equipment producing assemblies and/or sub-assemblies; may be required to substitute for a production job. 
• Coordinate production requirements with area’s daily work schedules. 
• Direct and oversee the work of production operators/operations. 
• Train new employees on machine operation and inspection. 
• Prepare, organize and control flow of material to, through and from line. 
• Use hand tool and/or inspection/test equipment. 
• Inspect as instructed to ensure customer and Hutchinson specifications are maintained. 
• Maintain equipment in a clean and orderly condition: detect and report any defective materials and equipment. 
• Perform other duties as directed.
• Cut Coil – load/unload coil cutters and be able to check the tube length on the set-up gage.
