Lila Sciences is seeking a dedicated Senior/Principal Systems Integration Engineer  to join our team.

🛠️ What You'll Be Building

• Project Management & Coordination:
  • Lead and coordinate complex interdisciplinary technical projects, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between external vendors and internal stakeholders to define and reach project goals.
  • Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track progress and report key performance indicators to senior management.
  • Implement risk management strategies to foresee, mitigate, and resolve project challenges efficiently.
• Database Administration & Management:
  • Manage engineering data systems, including PDM vaults, ensuring their data integrity, security, and accessibility for cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and uphold protocols for data management to support precise and efficient data retrieval and analysis.
  • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate and enhance data management solutions.
• Process Improvement & Optimization:
  • Analyze existing engineering processes to spot improvement opportunities for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead the implementation of process enhancements aligning with industry best practices and company objectives.
  • Facilitate training and workshops to foster a continuous improvement culture.
• Technical Expertise & Support:
  • Offer strong technical acumen in mechanical, electrical, or controls engineering to aid in effective problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams for successful system integration and operational readiness.
• System Design & Development:
  • Develop system specifications, define interfaces, and create detailed system architecture diagrams.
  • Gather and document system requirements, ensuring comprehensive functionality capture.
  • Integrate various components into a cohesive system, managing interfaces and dependencies.
• Testing, Validation & Troubleshooting:
  • Perform system-level testing to verify functionality and identify potential issues, ensuring performance criteria are met.
  • Analyze system performance metrics, implementing improvements for optimized efficiency and reliability.
  • Diagnose and resolve system issues, providing ongoing support and maintenance.
• Collaboration & Cross-functional Teamwork:
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including software and hardware engineers and project managers, to ensure seamless system implementation.

🧰 What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial & Systems Engineering (ISE) degree or Controls Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing cross functional multidisciplinary projects in engineering and or systems integration.
• Strong organizational skills, with a focus on engineering data management.
• Familiarity with engineering tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in dynamic and fast-paced
