In This Role You Will:
- Develop event strategy and plans
- Oversee event staff
- Drive SparkCognition and SparkCognition Government Systems (SGS) event execution
- Design and deliver small and large (1000+) 1st party events
- Oversee 3rd party event participation and coordinating execution
- Conduct pre-event activities including venue and vendor selection, contracts, supplier coordination, and rehearsals
- Handle event logistics including production, shipping, set-up, on-site rentals, and more
- Manage event sponsorships and speaking opportunities
- Build event agendas and conduct speaker and sponsor outreach for events
- Coordinating cross marketing event strategy including promotional spend, advertising, and social media activities
- Develop and manage event budget and account payable approval
- Coordinate event feedback and evaluation
- Report event performance against established KPIs to key stakeholders and senior leadership
You will have:
- 7+ years of event planning and execution experience
- Strong management and leadership skills
- High level of organizational and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication with keen attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while exhibiting great time management
- Demonstrated ability to work productively with counterparts in a cross-functional capacity
- The ability be to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment as a team player with stakeholders across all functions
- Proficiency with desktop software solutions (e.g., Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Asana, etc.)
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
