Complex Accounting Clerk

Overview
The Complex Accounting Clerk is responsible for assisting the Director(s) of Finance in daily record keeping and managing the day-to-day operations of multiple hotels and finance departments. The Complex Accounting Clerk will provide excellent customer service and will represent the hotels and company in a professional manner at all times.
Responsibilities
- Accurately reviewing daily transactions from hotel staff or hotel systems and posting to general ledger
- Implement and maintain acceptable accounting practices and procedures as required by company policy and procedures, generally accepted accounting practices, and as effected by local conditions
- Assist in managing revenues and expenses including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, audit, General Ledger reporting, and cash handling functions
- Manage accounts receivable function including: preparation of invoices and statements, processing A/R payments, collection calls, and basic filing of accounts receivable documentation
- Process payroll for multiple properties
- Process A/P invoices and prepare and process payment batches on a weekly basis, and research vendor statements
- Assist with posting journal entries during month-end and any ad hoc requests from the Directors of Finance
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school graduate
- College degree, Accounting major preferred
- Two or more years accounting experience; hospitality experience preferred
- Experience in processing A/P, A/R, general accounting and payroll
- Proficient in Excel, 10-key, Microsoft Products, computer use, and communication via e-mail, text, instant message, phone.

Wage: $28.00/hr to $32.00/hr
Location: Home Office in Englewood, Colorado
