What We Need:

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer 1 to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings - Operations team at Gunlocke in Wayland, NY. 

What You Will Do:

• Investigate and resolve work-in-process problems
• Recommend and implement improvements or modifications for manufacturing processes, equipment utilization, and related matters
• Confer with other engineers to clarify and resolve problems
• Monitor operations to assure compliance

What You Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• 2 years of work experience specific to engineering; internships and co-ops will be considered
• Strong problem-solving capabilities
• Lean manufacturing principles including RCI, 3P, value stream mapping, and statistical analysis
