Data, Insights, & Analytics Quality Engineer - Internship

THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Data, Insights, and Analytics Quality Engineer Intern, you will be working closely with Quality Engineers to review, test, and validate all data related activities.  This includes development of new ETLs, table updates and modifications, documentation reviewing and writing, as well as Power BI report review and validation. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

• Be an active member of a scrum team in the Data, Insights, and Analytics department (planning, standups, retros, etc.) 

• Reviewing data integrations and implementation documentation 

• Planning testing strategy, timeline, and communicating this to the team 

• Participates in complex design and technical discussions 

• Executing and reporting on testing results in lower and upper environments  

• Review test automation results and investigate failures 

• Contribute to process documentation as processes evolve and change 

• Investigate production issues to understand and reproduce in the lower environment 

• Work on team technical debt related to keeping testing and environments up to date and reliable 

• Review test strategy and approach with other team members 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE 

• An interest in data engineering, data quality, and enterprise data 

• Experience with the SQL language   

• Experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure DevOps is a plus 

• An understanding of Pre-Production and Production environments 

• Professional attitude, leading by example  

• Have great communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business units 

• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms  

PAY TRANSPARENCY

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $27.40–$35.34. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors.
