Job Description
Our Digital Operations team is looking for a Sr. Web Project Coordinator to oversee and direct the on-going day-to-day production operations of our primary website WesternDigital.com to a global audience. As a Sr. Web Project Coordinator, you will work cross-functionally within the Digital Operations, e-commerce, and brand marketing teams as well as internal stakeholders.
Key duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, keeping the teams focused on developing and delivering creative by managing the production processes. This role also includes setting expectations with stakeholders, taking in and closing out updates and facilitating production requests on time. You will ensure that the UX Design and Web Authoring teams have all the requirements (creative request, details, associated asset files, legal approval, etc.) in hand before production begins, and follow the process through team handoff and delivery.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Create job tickets, track through the work process, and ensure the requests are complete
· Gather all required materials (copy, assets, images) from stakeholders
· Track the requests to ensure timely handoffs between teams through completion
· Assist the QA team in reviewing pages and addressing issues
· Manage the requestor's expectations and impacts on timelines (change requests, multiple rounds of revisions, etc.)
· Work with team leads to determine resource assignments
· Responsible for reporting and providing status updates to leadership
· Facilitate recurring status meetings with both internal and external teams
· Document and track progress for web projects
· Organize and optimize process and workflows to streamline production and delivery of projects
· Maintain the content calendar across e-commerce and web strategy teams
· Maintain the monthly homepage updates calendar across all Western Digital brands
Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Sr. Web Project Coordinator in a fast-paced, web, and e-commerce creative delivery environment
· 4-6 years of professional experience
· Knowledge in building and developing workflows and reports in Jira or another project management tool
· Must be very detailed, organized, and proactive
· Must be comfortable speaking in a group environment
· Strong communication skills
· Experience working with designers, developers, and product managers a plus
· Visual Design and/or CMS development and publishing experience a plus
· Project Management background a plus
