Non-acute care is offered through various affiliates, including the Thompson House for rehabilitation and skilled nursing services, and the Home Care organizations.SUMMARY: Development and implementation of comprehensive hospital lactation program. Provide or coordinate educational programs for staff and patients. Identify lactation management strategies. Act as resource for nursing staff, physicians and breastfeeding families. Establish and maintain standard of care for breastfeeding families through quality improvement activities. Population served based on scope of services in the department.REQUIREMENTS:Minimum two year college degree or diploma required. Current NYS RN licenseExperience: 3 years maternal child heath & 3 years as a lactation consultant IBCLC (international board certified lactation consultant) preferred.
