Role Summary:
The Construction Loan Administrator is responsible for managing the construction loan disbursement process, ensuring all draw requests, documentation, and regulatory requirements are handled accurately and efficiently. This role acts as a liaison between borrowers, builders, and internal teams, facilitating smooth and compliant disbursements throughout the construction process.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Process and review draw requests submitted by builders and borrowers through the designated construction loan platform.
- Ensure all required documentation, including invoices, receipts, and lien waivers, is complete and accurate before processing disbursements.
- Verify that work is completed before releasing funds and ensure compliance with construction loan guidelines.
- Coordinate inspections with third-party vendors and communicate results to stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers and builders during the construction phase.
- Provide clear and timely updates on the status of draw requests and loan disbursements.
- Collaborate with Loan Officers, Processors, and Underwriters to address construction loan-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of construction loan regulations and guidelines to ensure all processes meet compliance standards.
- Monitor and follow up on trailing documents, such as final lien waivers and completion certificates, to ensure a complete loan package.
- Issue Post-Closing Compliance Documents (PCCDs) related to construction loan disbursements within the required timelines.
- Identify opportunities to streamline the construction loan disbursement process and improve efficiency.
- Develop and maintain checklists and standard operating procedures for managing construction loans. Prioritize daily tasks to meet deadlines and manage borrower expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of all loan activities in the Loan Origination System (LOS) and construction management platforms.
- Attend training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on industry changes and organizational policies.
