Job Summary

Provides high quality, comprehensive and patient-centered occupational therapy including patient evaluation, development and administration of a treatment plan, documentation and communication with physicians and other referral sources, and clinical guidance to non-licensed personnel. Works with various health care team members. May administer topical medications per treatment requirements.

Job Requirements

a. Minimum Education Requirement :
Meets educational requirements for NBCOT certification and current California licensure.

b. Minimum Experience Requirement :
5 years of experience with 50 hours of education in a specific specialty. Hand therapist requires advanced practice certification for hands and use of physical agents. Excellent customer service skills required.

c. Minimum License Requirement :
Current California licensure as an Occupational Therapist. BLS Required. NBCOT registration required. Annual 2 hours of stroke education required for those working at QVH.

Shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 7:30am - 4:00pm; holidays and weekend on rotation
