POSITION SUMMARY:

Shimadzu Scientific Instruments is hiring an Enterprise Business Applications Manager to lead the operations and strategy of our enterprise systems—anchored by Microsoft Dynamics 365. In this high-impact role, you’ll guide a team of technical professionals and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver scalable, secure, and high-value application solutions that power our business. You’ll serve as both strategist and execution leader—driving enhancements, leading implementations and ensuring our technology stack aligns with core business goals.

 

JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Direct the daily operations of our enterprise application suite, including Dynamics 365 and Power Platform integrations.
• Manage and mentor team members while fostering a service-focused, high-performance culture.
• Lead system improvement initiatives across multiple departments in partnership with IT, operations, and vendors.
• Oversee Dynamics 365 enhancements, cloud integration, mobile application deployments, and system integrity.
• Develop technical roadmaps, assess ROI for new tools and build business cases for application modernization.
• Deliver actionable insights and automation through dashboards, reporting tools, and data warehouses.
• Ensure uptime, security, and compliance of integrated systems across our hybrid IT environment.
• Act as an internal consultant—translating business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Plan and test disaster recovery strategies and coordinate business continuity measures.
• Own vendor relations, licensing, and budget coordination related to enterprise apps.

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (required).
• 8+ years of experience managing enterprise systems in Dynamics 365 (Sales, Field Service, Great Plains). Familiarity or related experience with SAP S/4Hana.
• Strong command of Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate), SQL, and integration tools such as KingswaySoft.
• Recent experience leading application upgrades, migrations, and optimization initiatives.
• Familiarity with Azure, Entra ID, SharePoint, and security protocols.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and project leadership skills.
• Preferred certifications: PL-200, MB-210, MB-240.
