Internal Audit is one of Citi's key components with over 1500 professionals globally covering Citi's global businesses and service, and a change agent within Citi aimed to enhance the control culture of Citigroup worldwide.</p><p></p><p>The Senior Auditor <span>will support the timely delivery of high quality, audits globally and other governance related business processes</span> <span>within the Internal Audit's (IA) <b>Institutional Credit Management Team.</b></span></p><p></p><p><b><u>What you'll do:</u></b></p><ul><li><p>Perform moderately complex audits including drafting audit reports, presenting issues to the business, and discussing practical solutions</p></li><li><p>Draft audit reports and present issues to the business while discussing practical cross-functional solutions</p></li><li><p>Monitor, assess, and recommend solutions to emerging risks</p></li><li><p>Contribute to the development of audit processes improvements, including the development of automated routines</p></li><li><p>Apply internal audit standards, policies, and regulations to provide timely audit assurance and influence audit scope</p></li><li><p><span>Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.</span></p></li><li><p>Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>What we'll need from you:</u></b></p><ul><li><p>At least 4-5 years of relevant experience.</p></li><li><p>Internal Audit background preferred, but candidates with strong experience in <b>Credit Risk</b> or various stripes of risks are also very welcome to apply as audit training will be provided.</p></li><li><p>Effective verbal and written communication and negotiation skills</p></li><li><p>Subject matter expertise regarding audit technology’s application</p></li><li><p>Strong project management skills</p></li><li><p>Influencing and relationship management skills</p></li><li><p><span>Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision and </span><span>exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Bachelor’s/University</span></span> degree or equivalent experience</p></li></ul><p><br/>This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
