About the role

Job Description Summary

As the Clinical Applications Specialist for the Ultrasound Digital Solutions team, you will be responsible for providing clinical applications support of the ViewPoint product during both the sales process and ensuing project implementation. This role is in support of our ViewPoint software product within Point of Care, General, Cardiovascular, and Women’s Health ultrasound environments. You will cover a large region of the continental US, and week to week your work could involve any or all of those ultrasound segments. The preferred candidate will be experienced in multiple Ultrasound specialties and be located within the Central/Mountain regions of the United States. However, we are open to any U.S. mainland locations for the right candidate. Experience performing Point of Care, General, Cardiac, and Women’s Health ultrasound is strongly preferred. Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Sales support to include both remote and onsite product demonstrations, direct Sales Specialist assistance, and direct customer assistance
  • Use market and product knowledge to assist sales team in developing sales, marketing, and customer service strategies
  • Preparation and planning of project training and support; includes consistent participation in project management calls, building relationships with our customer clinical contacts, accurate assessment of proper training needs, clear and well-defined documentation of the agreed upon clinical workflow, the scheduling/delivery of clinical Admin training, and consistent, high-quality cross-functional communication
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of the ViewPoint software, with an ability to navigate various clinical workflows, and a commitment to professionalism at all times
  • Utilize industry knowledge and experience to consult with customers on most efficient use of the ViewPoint product
  • Successfully establish, manage, and maintain productive customer relationships
  • Deliver onsite product training to the clinical end users in a manner that ensures customer success
  • Develop and deliver consistent and professional remote product training via MS Teams/Zoom; audiences will include both internal customers and external customers
  • Actively participate in new software release testing as required, delivering clearly defined feedback to our engineering/development team
  • Develop product training materials/deliverables in conjunction with the ViewPoint Academy
  • Communicate with fellow Regional Applications Specialists and Regional Product Sales Specialists to ensure all customer and business needs are met
  • Utilize software tools to document activities, deliver status of project tasks, maintain our quality and compliance standards, and to communicate effectively both internally and externally  
  • Energize team and maintain adherence of defined processes

Required Qualifications

  • At least one of the following core experiences:  Minimum of 5 years clinical ultrasound experience with ARDMS, RDCS, or CCI certification, or at least 3 years commercial applications
  • The willingness and ability to travel 70-80% of the time, both within your specified geographic region and across the United States and Canada, with overnight stays. Travel for the support of National Sales Meetings and tradeshows will also be expected. To meet both business and customer needs, there will be occasions where Sunday travel is necessary.
  • Willingness to annually maintain active clinical certification/registries for the performance of diagnostic ultrasound examinations in a live patient setting
