As a Principal Engineer on the Identity team, you will lead the design and implementation of all our user-facing signal collection flows. Our impact comes through collaboration across organizational and functional boundaries. You Will:

• Architect and implement the signal collection flows, including the Upsell UI Specialist portion of the Access Management Platform.
• Bring designs to life for both our web and mobile platforms, using C#, Javascript, and Lua (no experience necessary).
• Enforce the principle of least privilege. The account identity team strives to respect user privacy by making sure that we expose the minimum amount of user information necessary for product decisions to be made by our fellow Roblox teams.
• Work cross organizationally. We collaborate with teams and roles throughout Roblox and get a big picture view of how Roblox works.
• You will report to the Senior Engineering Manager of Account Identity

You Have:

• 8+ years of experience in software development, making an impact beyond your team
• 8+ years of experience developing frontend web applications, using frontend libraries and frameworks (React, angular, Vue.js, etc)
• Experience working directly on scalable backend systems or partnering with backend teams
• Familiar with C#, TypeScript, Lua, or Go (bonus)

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.  All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.Annual Salary Range$315,850—$383,910 USD
