Mitigation Cyber Analyst (On site)

Responsibilities

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Mitigation Cyber Analyst to support our Sunny Point Army Ammunition Plant, Southport, NC location.

 

Candidate will be a member of the Army Materiel Command Critical Infrastructure Risk Management Team located at AMC Hq Redstone Arsenal. This position is located at a remote site and is responsible for Cyber Resiliency Cybersecurity Support. The candidate will conduct analysis of cyber risk assessments to identify, develop, and recommend technical and operational solutions (material and non-material solutions) to mitigate, resolve, or remove security risk. The candidate will also work with information security SMEs, system architects, business analysts, and network engineers to remediate identified risks and improve cyber resiliency, without introducing additional operational or mission execution risk. Candidate will also be responsible for achievement of an Authority to Operate (ATO) under the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process using eMASS.

 

 

 

Qualifications

 

Required Skills/Experience:

• Utilizing site maps, architecture documentation, and site assessments, documents business and production processes to prepare workflow process documents.
• Workflow process documents require dependency identification.
• Analysis of mission assessments to assist identification of key assets, critical infrastructure, and systems. 
• Assist with prioritization of key assets to assist with resourcing and protection of assets.
• Perform on-site inventories (physical and logical), assessments, and validation audits.  Ability to create templates for others to conduct inventory tasks.
• Performs research and analyses at all levels of site and system products to include concept design, installation, inventory, operation, sustainment, and disposal. 
• Provide technical analysis of IT and OT systems for identification, assessment, and documentation of current and future systems.
• Develops technical and operational views, reports, and summaries to provide leadership with a continuous, accurate, situational understanding and impact to mission and operational risk.
• Ability to prepare and maintain Excel files to document, sort, and present reports for multiple audience requirements.
• Prepare detailed workflow process diagram in Microsoft Visio or similar Army provided application.
• Develop and maintain Common Operating Picture/Dashboards to support AMC Leadership decision making efforts.
• Assist other teams with related efforts as requested.
• Military experience in the development of presentations and briefing high level officials
• Must be used to working in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Travel: 10 %
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

 

Education Requirements:

• BS degree & 4-6 years experience or degree equivalent
• Certifications that support IAT Level II

 

Desired Skills:

• Background in Industrial Control Systems helpful. 
• Knowledgeable in the areas of: real-time security situational awareness, operational network systems, and security monitoring.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to clearly present and communicate technical approaches and findings.
