Facility Maintenance Tech

Summary: 

A facility maintenance technician is responsible for keeping lodging, equipment and facilities in good repair by providing day-to-day maintenance and repairs at Thunderbird Lodge at Spider Mountain  Complete maintenance work orders on a timely basis.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Respond to repair requests as directed by maintenance supervisor.
• Understand and safely operate tools and equipment to perform all facets of repairs to structures and maintain grounds.
• Perform all maintenance activities required to complete repairs and preventative maintenance,
• Maintains resort and lodging facilities and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must have basic knowledge or experience in duties such as, but not limited to, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, groundskeeping, pool maintenance.
• Ability to work under pressure situations and exercise good judgment.
• Ability to focus attention on details, safety, speed, and accuracy.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, sit, squat, and kneel for long periods of time.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Ability to work in extreme outdoor conditions.
