What You'll Do:

  • Lead agile software development projects from initiation through delivery, aligning with both business objectives and technical specifications.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to set scope, priorities, and milestones.
  • Manage project schedules, risks, and dependencies, proactively addressing blockers and tradeoffs as they arise.
  • Ensure clear communication and transparency across teams and stakeholders via regular status updates and reports.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts among engineering, QA, UX, and DevOps teams.
  • Champion agile best practices and foster continuous improvement in team delivery and processes.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators such as velocity, sprint burndown, and delivery timelines.
  • Support team morale and culture, nurturing accountability, learning, and trust within the group.
  • Utilize tools like Jira, Confluence, GitHub Projects, or Asana for workflow management and visualization.

What You'll Bring:

  • Deep understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and the software development life cycle.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Skill in navigating technical discussions and collaborating effectively with engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated experience balancing scope, time, cost, and quality across multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Proficient in agile tools (e.g., Jira, ClickUp, Azure DevOps, or equivalent).
  • Comfortable working in remote and hybrid environments across various time zones.
  • Recommended: 3–5 years of experience in software project or technical program management.
  • Recommended: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or SAFe are a plus.

 

Compensation & Benefits: 

The salary range for this role, in Loveland, CO is between $105,300 - $180,500, and in Deerfield, IL is between $100,400 - $172,000. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.  Details will be discussed through the application process.
