Material Handler (Night Shift, Monday - Friday)

Schedule: 4:30PM-1:00AM Monday through Thursday, and 3:30PM-12:00AM on Fridays.

 

In your role, you will:

• Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and / or Hanger positions)
• Comply with environmental health / safety policies / procedures.  Participate in 5-S activities.  Perform all work in a safe and timely manner
• Receive / visually inspect all incoming and outgoing materials for physical damage (BAS Only)
• Distribute parts, materials, tools and ground support equipment with regard to aircraft delivery schedules.  May assist in ordering parts if required (BAS only)
• Verify and reconcile appropriate documentation on incoming and outgoing parts and materials
• Maintain accurate inventory (via cycle counts, perpetual, work-in-progress) using computerized / manual systems to include purchased parts, manufactured parts, materials, tools, etc.  
• Assist in loading / unloading shipments

How to thrive in this role?

•    You have five (5) years experience in one of the following: Warehouse, Shipping/ Receiving, Tool Crib, Parts Inventory, Requisition, Stocking

•    You have basic knowledge of purchasing, service orders/ methods
•    You have basic knowledge of AOG procedures 
•    You are trained in Hazardous Materials Requirements
•    You have full proficiency of Grades 04 and  05 or equivalent
•    Thorough knowledge of department procedures
•    Thorough knowledge of MS Office 
•    Working knowledge of Purchasing, Service Orders / Methods
•    Working knowledge of AOG procedures
•    Working knowledge of SAP (BAS) or Syteline (Commercial)
