Essential Functions:Ability to troubleshoot, calibrate and adjust pilots, thermostats and burners, transformers, controls, relays, heaters, elements, switches, and controls on electrical systems. Ability to use the tools of the trade (e.g. multimeter, refrigerant gauges, charging charts, hand tools etc.)
Responsibilities:Installs, maintains, and repairs ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. Identifies maintenance risks on equipment.Diagnoses electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems. Cleans, adjusts, and repairs systems, and performs warranty services. Performs emergency repairs promptly and efficiently. Provides technical direction and on-the-job training. Keeps daily logs and records of all maintenance functions. Ensures compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act Complies with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements. Assists with customers' queries.Completes other duties as assigned.Work truck is provided.
Qualifications:Must be 18 years of age or older.Commercial HVAC Service experiencePreventative Maintenance, diagnose issues on all units, troubleshooting with mechanical/electrical.Working with AirCool Chillers, large tonage package unitsRefrigeration/HVAC Trade or Vocational certification required. 7+ years’ experience as an Sr. Commercial HVAC Service Technician, and willingness to continue education in HVAC field. Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available. Customer Service Experience focused
